The Quality Assurance Unit at Raya Higher Institute seeks excellence in educational and service performance, to bring the institute to academic accreditation and a prominent standing among comparable institutes locally.
The unit’s mission
The Quality Assurance Unit applies at the institute the quality standards approved by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and contributes to the continuous advancement and improvement of teaching, research and community service, to achieve the institute’s mission and objectives.

The strategic goals of the Quality Assurance Unit
- Establish an internal quality management system at the institute.
- Spread a culture of quality among all stakeholders.
- Develop the capacities of all categories of the institute’s human resources.
- Achieve the institute’s vision, mission and objectives.
- Follow up the implementation of the annual operational plans of the strategic plan.
- Carry out the self-evaluation and prepare the self-study.
- Follow up the specification and development of programs and courses in the academic departments.
- Follow up the preparation of program and course reports and files in the academic departments.
- Set performance-evaluation systems, indicators and forms for human resources.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews of the departments, the administrations and the institute.
- Set performance-improvement plans.
- Prepare the institute to apply for accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
